The 2012 CCF Golf Tournament is supported by the Washington DC business and golf community. CCF's Golf Tournament is admired as one of the best charity golf tournaments in the Greater Washington Region. This opportunity to golf for charity gives purpose to your game. CCF is pleased to announce that Creighton Farms Golf Club will host the of the tournament.

What is the Children’s Charities Foundation?
Founded in 1994 by Peter Teeley, former US Ambassador, and a group of Washington-area business and professional leaders, The Children’s Charities Foundation has distributed more than $8.2 million to charities in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area including the District of Columbia; Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties in Maryland; Fairfax and Arlington Counties in Virginia; and the City of Alexandria, Virginia.

The Chair Behind the Charity: Peter Teeley and the Children’s Charities Foundation
Four years before the first teams of the BB&T Classic faced-off, Peter Teeley, founder and chairman of the Children’s Charities Foundation, was in a battle of his own against colon cancer. Teeley had already led an interesting life. He had worked alongside then Vice President George H.W. Bush as a press secretary and assistant. He had served as the U.S. representative to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). He had been thoroughly involved in the political sphere and humanitarian efforts. And yet he had more to do.
